Apple is extending some AppleTV + Subs at no cost till February 2021

Apple announced today that AppleTV + subscriptions that are scheduled to end on November 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021 will be extended to their February 2021 billing date.

The basic situation is that last year Apple gave away a free year of AppleTV + to new device buyers, all of which should end in November. Apple knows that everyone is still waiting for a tough winter with COVID-related restrictions so these subs will be out until February.

Monthly users whose subscription starts before November 1, 2020 will also receive an offer. Between November 2020 and February 2021, you will see a credit of $ 4.99 (the cost of an AppleTV + subscription) for each month. You don't have to do anything to get the subscription credits and users will receive emails informing them of these additions / credits.

And of course, if you manage to keep the total number in the fourth quarter of a difficult financial year, the better, the better, right?

AppleTV + got off to a slightly slow start, with a big subway in the form of equipment and some high profile launches that were tempered by early reviews of their marquee programming. But people have warmed up to the shows over time.

I believed then that it was a bit of a natural sugar spill.

People love Apple. People seem to really like the morning show. Critics didn't like the morning show. I think it's absolutely correct to say it got a down draft because it was reviewed as a starter package.

This was revealed over time when The Morning Show AppleTV + won its first Prime Time Emmy Award.

The total number of nominations for Apple Originals is now 114 with 35 wins.

By the way, Ted Lasso is one of the smarter and more humane shows currently being streamed. Please take a look at it, it is a successful mixture of sport, non-toxic masculinity and heart drama.

In short, if you bought an iOS device on the first day last year, chances are that your free year will actually end on October 31st. Don't worry, you are also included in this offer.

Here are the details of the easy copy and paste business:

If your AppleTV + subscription ends November 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021, Apple will extend the free year to your sub-date in February 2021.
This means that the annual subscription renewal will apply to people who went into hiding before January 31, 2020.
For example, if your sub was set for November 15, 2020, your first billing date would now be February 15, 2020.
If people signed up for an annual subscription without buying a new device during the same period, they will also be free until February 2021.
If you signed up for a monthly subscription before November 1, 2020, you will receive $ 4.99 per month in credit.
The new device program, with which you receive one year free of charge, will continue.
Customers receive emails about this.
