Fantasy Soccer Rankings Week 13: Quarterback

For many fantasy football owners, it's time to win or go home, so the idea of starting a "Sleeper" quarterback this week probably isn't all that appealing. But sometimes the matchups are too good (or bad) to ignore, and our week 13 Fantasy QB leaderboard has some potentially surprising names in the top 15.

We're not worried about Kyler Murray just because he's up against the Rams or Deshaun Watson but includes Ben Roethlisberger (against Washington), Matt Ryan (against Saints), Carson Wentz (@ Packers) and Matthew Stafford (@ Bears) to the normal starters / top streamers dropping this week.

Derek Carr (@ Jets), Jared Goff (@ Cardinals), Kirk Cousins (v Jaguars), Ryan Tannehill (v Browns), Taysom Hill (@ Falcons) and Philip Rivers (@ Texans) stand up to take their seats . . Daniel Jones (@ Seahawks) would be in that group too, but having sustained a hamstring injury in Week 12, his prospects for Week 13 are not high if he fits. Again, you shouldn't necessarily start them before the tried and true stars (including Justin Herbert versus the Patriots), but they're all in good situations and have relatively high floors. You could also include Cam Newton (@ Chargers), Baker Mayfield (@ Titans), and anyone starting for the Dolphins (versus Bengals), but these three teams don't match often so the caps on their QBs are limited.

If you're playing in a two-QB league, or just a competitive, deep single-QB league, you might even consider Sam Darnold (v. Raiders), Mike Glennon (@ Vikings), or Mitchell Trubisky (v. Lions), but that would be a big risk.

Overall, it's a good week for QBs, despite having two decent goodbyes (Tom Brady, Teddy Bridgewater) and some other top options with awkward matchups. At this point in the season, the weather will be an issue, but as long as the conditions are playable we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from temporary offenses and defenses. Of course, things don't always go as expected (ask Derek Carr's owners), but playing the odds is usually the best move of the year.

Note: Check back throughout the week as we will keep updating our QB rankings based on the latest news and injury updates until kickoff.
