MLB Playoff Schedule 2020: Full Bracket, Dates, Instances, TV Channels for Every Sequence

A chaotic season deserves an equally chaotic ending.

The 2020 MLB playoffs are here, and the World Series is heading to Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. But before two teams compete for a World Cup, 16 will be on the field in an expanded playoff picture that begins Tuesday, September 29th.

MORE: SN's predictions for Pennant Winner, World Series Champion

In a normal year, only 10 teams would take their chance to win the Commissioner's Cup, but the players' association and league agreed to expand the playoff picture on opening day and bring another six teams to the field on Tuesday. And to add a few wrinkles to the situation, most playoffs are played in four separate bubbles in the Texas and California stadiums, while there are no rest days in any series in October.

The 2020 MLB Playoffs begin with eight best-of-three series in the newly christened Wild Card series. The opening round gives way to the Division Series, which leads to the championship series that will eventually culminate in the 2020 World Series and will be played at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Tex.

Here's what you need to know about the 2020 MLB playoffs:
