Thursday Night time Soccer DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS Lineup Ideas for Week 15 Chargers-Raiders Showdown Tournaments

Raiders vs. Chargers isn't the most popular Thursday night game, but it's the hand we open week 15 with. At least we can count on it to be semi-observable thanks to solid quarterbacks and ongoing games. We didn't invest much in the quick attacks on our DraftKings Showdown lineup, instead choosing to pay for both Justin Herbert and Derek Carr.

Keenan Allen is our captain in DK's PPR rating thanks to his Davante Adams Lite production. To that end, we played backup running backs from both teams, a strategy we've never used and may never use again, but which kind of feels okay in this game.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Raiders vs. Chargers

Captain (1.5x Price, 1.5x Points): WR Keenan Allen, Chargers ($ 16,500)

Allen is one of the best receivers in football, and the last time these teams met he had nine catches for 103 yards and one touchdown. He's caught touchdowns in six of his last seven games and is Justin Herbert's number one target. In DK's PPR format, it's a great captain option to save a little on Herbert's price.

UPDATE: Allen is officially listed as questionable for tonight's game and is expected to be a game time decision. Even if he's playing, he could be restricted, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. If these factors make you uncomfortable playing Allen with the captain, Herbert is the next best captain option.

TNF INJURIES: Disgust | Allen | Williams

FLEX: QB Justin Herbert, Chargers ($ 11,800)

Herbert threw for 326 yards and two points when these teams first played, and while he's been struggling a little lately, the Las Vegas Secondary won't be a problem for him. If we as captain want to play an LA receiver, it only makes sense to stack with his QB.

FLEX: QB Derek Carr, Raiders ($ 10,000)

Carr has shown a lot of growth this season, and the Raiders have also shown an increased willingness to trust him as a passerby. He's thrown more than 300 yards with multiple touchdowns in the past two weeks, and while he wasn't big against the chargers the first time, that was due to the low pass volume. Carr will be moving the ball through the air on Thursday.

FLEX: WR Nelson Agholor, Raiders ($ 7,400)

Whenever I've put together Raiders Showdown lineups for early slate games throughout the season, I've always avoided Agholor and he burned me every time. He doesn't have big games every week, but he's more consistent than the other WRs offered out of Vegas. He also scored the first time these teams competed against each other.

FLEX: RB Kalen Ballage, Chargers ($ 2,400)

Ballage has received a lot of hatred from SN Fantasy staff over the past few years, but it has shown that the chargers are bursting more and more frequently. Restoring a backup is always a tricky business, but Ballage has seen eight or more touches at a time in the past two weeks, so he built a floor at a low price.

FLEX: RB Devontae Booker, Raiders ($ 1,800)

Booker's price should likely drop with Ballage & # 39; s but we'll take both. The first time the Raiders played against LA was Booker with a 60-yard touchdown and this time Josh Jacobs was unable to play while tackling an ankle injury. Booker should see enough touch to be solid for a great value.
